2023 ended with our first overall national win at the Big White Winter Rally! Krista and I piloted the Ferrari powered Subaru through the snow and ice betting on a tire strategy the entire day of racing. The tire strategy worked, but we had heavy frost forming on our windshield during the night stages that made the going difficult and nearly impossible to see.

We’re starting 2024 by 3D modeling the suspension in Solidworks and looking for opportunities to improve the geometry to make the car perform better than ever. Check out my latest YouTube video for more.

Sam Albert is an American rally driver and driving coach competing all across North America. He has been involved with the sport since 2010 and entered his first full national season in 2018 winning the North American Rally Cup and placing 3rd overall in the American Rally Association National Championship. Prior to full time competition, he served in U.S. Army as a Special Forces Officer for the 1st Special Forces Group at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Based out of Portland, OR he frequently instructs at DirtFish in Snoqualmie, WA and spends the majority of his free time in the Cascades climbing mountains or training for endurance sports.
